Fashion Influence
I wanted to visually display the influence of fashion and how it effects Interior Design trends. I am a lover of fashion from the timeless silhouettes to the risk taking trends. I have always noticed how much it translates to our interiors. Just as color trends change in fashion, the same is true of interior design. I think that it is because of our natural need to surround ourselves in comfort. Comfort can come from simply being exposed to something over and over again, it gets into your brain and before you are aware of it, you like it, crave it and want to experience it. The way you are as a designer can then be attributed to the kind of dresser you are. Are you simple, clean lined and classic or do you like to push the envelope with bold statement pieces. So for 2012, find out who your inner clothes diva is and translate it to your interiors. Happy New Year, 2012 is going to be the best year yet. Cheers!
